Frequently Asked Questions

Warranty

Multitek Repair Central provides limited 6 moth warranty on all parts and labor associated with the preceding repair. The limited warranty is made exclusively for the benefit of the original customer of the preceding repair, and as such, is non-transferable. This limited  warranty covers manufacturer-related part defects on parts installed by Multitek Repair Central as well as the workmanship associated with the preceding repair only, and does not cover supplemental damage. Supplemental damage can be defined as any damage unrelated to the preceding repair, including, but not limited to physical damage or liquid damage to the device. Manufacturer-related defect symptoms may include one or more of the following: a spontaneous or abrupt decline in overall device functionality, touchscreen sensitivity, or LCD performance. Exclusions to this warranty include, but are not limited to, physical and/or liquid damage, batteries, accessories and soldered components. Liquid damage and subsequent physical damage which occurs after a completed repair will void this warranty. Additionally, this warranty is automatically voided in the event of a manufacturer software enhancement that adversely affects the functionality of the phone.  Multitek Repair Central reserves the right to resolve any and all disputes concerning this acknowledgment of limited warranty coverage.


Mail-In Repairs

  1. Typically most mail-in repairs are completed within 48 hours. If you need your item sent back in a faster manner than regular mail services, let us know and we will be able to send your item back to you by priority shipping with an extra cost.
  2. When sending you phone please do not include any chargers sim cards or memory cards or any other accessories. Please wrap you phone in a soft cushion material.
  3. Please use a shipping carrier the offers the option for tracking  on their packages.
  4. If there is a pass code on the device it hinders our ability to test all the functions of the device. Please provide your pass code with the device when you send it in for repair. If you do not wish to provide your pass code, certain device functions including but not limited to; the camera, WiFi and Bluetooth cannot be tested and cannot be guaranteed.


Water Damage Devices

  1. Typically we have a water damage repair success rate of 70% percent, though nothing is guaranteed to work and there is no warranty included on this type of repair.
  2. If we are unable to repair your water damaged device for any reason, your payments will be refunded minus the cost of return shipping and your phone will be returned. If your device could not be repaired and you do not want the phone back then we will properly recycle the phone for you.
